Lake LBJ Municipal Utility District

Lake LBJ M.U.D. is a political subdivision of the State of Texas established October 14, 1971 in accordance with the Texas Constitution and the Texas Water Code.

T he M.U.D. offices are located just off RR 2147 at Community Drive. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

WHAT M.U.D. IS

The District is empowered to finance by taxation, construct, own and operate (at rates deemed appropriate) water, sewer, garbage, conservation, police protection, fire control and emergency medical services for those residing within the District.

A 5-member Board of Directors has management supervision of all affairs of the District and posts notices of all meetings. Directors are elected by public election, each serving a 4-year term. Two Directors are elected one even year and three the next even year.

M.U.D. FACTS & SERVICES

A ll District services are provided and charged for under conditions and rates specified in the current Rate Order. The District endeavors to provide a copy of the Rate Order to each new customer and will provide any customer with a copy of the Rate Order without charge. Please contact the business office for details.
